Rugged and beautiful and well worth a visit whenever you are in the area.

Carew Castle is a well preserved, 12th Century castle that was restyled in the 16th Century before succumbing to battle damage in the English Civil War.  It’s been a ruin ever since, but it’s still beautiful.
